GoetheHaus Jakarta

As a follow-up of the concert “urban string” with Ensemble Resonanz from Hamburg and Bali-based Dea Barandana in February 2017 as part of serial “Anders Hören” (“Listening Differently”) mixing electronical and classical music, the Goethe-Institut Indonesien is proud to present Zatua in their premiering performance.

Zatua is an Indonesian band freshly formed by Dea Barandana in Jakarta in early 2017 after a magical dinner party on the occasion of his performance with Ensemble Resonanz.

They are covering a wide range of musical genres: from ambient kraut rock, and electronic disco, to psychedelia and world music. Currently they are working on their first album, which will be released on Dutch label Second Circle.
