Professional Development for German Teachers
This unit is about you as a teacher, your influence on what happens in the classroom and the learning outcomes you wish to achieve in your class. You will relfect on what shapes you as a teacher and which external factors influence your teaching. You will learn how to deal with the challenges of teaching a language and get valuable tips on how to structure your lessons. Thus helping to create a calm, motivating, and producive classroom environment.
Unit 1 of the Deutsch Lehren Lernen series explores the following questions and more:
- What are your expectations of good teaching?
- What is your process and how do you guide your learners along the way?
- How can you develop personally and professionally as a teacher?
HOW AND WHEN?
Blended Learning with:
- Continuous online phase on the Goethe-Institut learning platform and
- 4 x live online sessions, each lasting 90 to 120 minutes. The exact dates and times for the sessions will be decided together with you and the DLL trainers at the beginning of the course.
