We will have showings of kids' movies at the Goethe-Institut Irland up to three times per term. The recommend for the movies will alternate from 0-7 and 7-12 years. The showings will take place on saturdays after the Kids' Courses, between 1.15 and 3 pm.

The film in October will be Der Froschkönig (58 Min, 2008). Directed by Franziska Buch, starring Sidonie von Krosigk, Friedrich von Thun, and Alexander Merbeth. Recommended for ages from 6 years old.

On her eighteenth birthday, the princess receives a golden ball left to her by her late mother. Her friends play boisterously with it, and the ball falls into the castle pond. The princess is inconsolable, even though a visitor is expected that day. A young man is coming to ask for her hand in marriage—and the future of the impoverished royal family depends on it. However, a frog promises to retrieve the ball from the pond if he is allowed to celebrate her birthday with her and eat from her plate.
