Pan Pan Theatre

From December 2017 to June 2018 German opera, music theatre and theatre director Anna-Sophie Mahler will be working with five participants based in Ireland. This mentorship programme is a unique opportunity for theatre and performance makers of all kinds to develop an early-stage idea for performance, outside the pressures of production. The engagement of the mentor is aimed to pose challenges and offer interrogations within a supportive structure.

Symposium Day

Saturday, 30 June 2018
1.30 - 5.30 pm

The Symposium Day is an informal event where the participants will introduce and discuss some of the ideas and working methods that they explored during the mentorship.
Anna-Sophie Mahler will also give a short introduction to her work for theatre and opera, as an independent director and with her company CapriConnection.
Pan Pan's Symposium Day offers a fascinating and unique insight into the way theatre is made, for audiences and theatre makers alike.
