Are you looking for ways to enhance your current language and communication skills? Are you interested in developing a more interactive teaching style? Would you like to exchange best practice examples, ideas and insights with other teachers of German?
 
Since 2014 Goethe-Institut Dublin has been offering a unique teacher upskilling course in professional development, suitable for the busy teacher thanks to its face-to-face and online support.

We are delighted to offer a choice of topics for the Spring term 2020:
 
Deutsch für Jugendliche (DLL 10)

– how the brains of young learners function and develop and its effect/relevance for language  teaching and planning of effective teaching

– how to evaluate the quality of learning activities and exercises in for lesson-planning
how to devise exercises and tasks to support interactive

– how to select, plan and implement age-based appropriate individual, pair and group work tasks facilitating interaction learning  

– how to choose appropriate projects based on a task based language learning approach

– how to take a systematic approach to teaching German in Junior and Senior Cycle

In the course you will be supported by experienced trainers as you select, plan and implement appropriate individual, pair and group work tasks, facilitating interaction among your learners to help them make progress.

DLL was awarded the European Language Label for its innovative approach to Continuous Professional Development!
 
Blended Learning over 12 weeks            
including 3 seminars on Saturdays,
10:00-17:15 hours:

Saturday 1: 28 March 2020
Saturday 2: 30 May 2020
Saturday 3: 13 June 2020
