Acclaimed German street artist Case Maclaim (aka Andreas von Chrzanowski) will headline this year's Waterford Walls Festival from 13 July until 28 August 2020. Since its inception in 2015 Waterford Walls has welcomed over 160 artists to paint in Waterford City.

In 2020 Case Maclaim has been invited to paint two artworks for the festival. He and his artist partner Samira will be in Waterford from 2 to 6 August to create the works.
Case Maclaim is one or the most creative and innovative urban artists in Europe. He was born in 1979 and raised in East Germany. He received a diploma in Art Restoration and Conservation at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences, but turned to street art in 1999. Case is one of the founding members of the East German crew Ma'Claim, which is one of the most renowned urban art crews worldwide. Case Maclaim has since produced urban art in over 20 countries, literally leaving his fingerprints in each of them through his paintings of hands. Throughout his body of work, Case has created a subliminal language that can be universally understood and can often tell much more than words.
Case Maclaim lives and works in Frankfurt am Main.
