The conference is an opportunity to take stock of the emergence of a European Community Land Trust movement, and its relevance to the EU policy agenda. Community Land Trusts are non-profit and democratic organisations. They develop and manage homes affordable to low- and medium-income households, as well as other assets contributing to thriving local communities. They act as long-term stewards of these assets, ensuring they remain permanently affordable.
