Fritz Bauer rehabilitated the conspirators of the July 20, 1944 plot to assassinate Hitler. He tracked down the Holocaust’s architect Adolf Eichmann in Argentina. He initiated the first trial of Auschwitz enablers under German criminal law. And yet, few were aware of him until this revealing documentary by Ilona Ziok hit the screens.
