Directions


The Goethe-Institut Chicago is located at 150 N. Michigan Avenue, at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street in the Crain Communications Building. Our office is on the second floor, Suite 200.

By car:

Grant Park North Underground Garage
If you are coming from the north or south on Michigan Avenue, the entrances to the parking garage are located in the center of Michigan Avenue. You can enter the garage on Michigan Avenue between Madison and Randolph Streets.

The East Monroe St. and Millennium Park Underground Garage
Coming from the north, the entrance is in the middle of Michigan Ave., just south of Randolph St. (bear to the left). Coming from the south, the entrance is in the middle of Michigan Ave., just north of Monroe St. (bear to the left). For more information, please call 312-742-7644.

There is also a self-park garage on Randolph Street between Michigan Avenue and State Street (across the street from Macy's). This garage is more expensive than 1) and 2) above.


Public Transportation (CTA):
You can use the „L“ (short for elevated train): Blue or Red Line to the Lake St. station; or Orange, Purple, Brown or Green Line to Washington & Wabash station.

Or, you can use city buses no. 3, 3X, 4, 4X, 19, 26, N66, 124, 143, 145, 147, 151, 157, 173 to the Michigan and Randolph stop
