Creatives Unite is a platform by the cultural & creative sectors for the cultural & creative sectors that gathers in one place all initiatives and information related to the CCI sector in the EU with respect to response to the COVID crisis:
It was launched in May 2020, following a virtual meeting of EU Ministers of Culture where Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, proposed the launch of a platform for the CCS to share information and good practices among themselves. The success of the platform, with over 35,000 visitors and over 800 different posts in its first year, demonstrate the need for such a resource among the sector. There you will also find the recording of the “United for a New Future” conference from 26 June 2020. The platform is evolving with the situation in the CCI sector, turning towards the questions of reopening and rebuilding culture, with the plan to become a one-stop-shop resource platform for the CCI beyond the pandemic. The platform is curated by Creative FLIP, a pilot project of the European Parliament, co-financed by the European Commission.
