The Centre for international Cultural Education in Bonn
In its stance against right-wing extremism and racism and for its championing of migration and societal cohesion, the Centre for international Cultural Education of the Goethe-Institut at Bonn is a port of call for a multitude of cooperation partners in Bonn and the surrounding area. And it is especially young adolescents who make up our target groups.
In order to reach out to these and to highlight the subjects already stated, we link up international projects not only with local cultural and educational establishments but also with a free and independent community. As the former capital, the federal city of Bonn is the perfect jumping-off point for our work because here can be found not only international organisations of significance but also many firmly entrenched cultural institutions whose influence radiates across the country.
The result is that the city connects cultural education with intercultural communication in a really special way. With Bonn operating as our hub, we are able to make our work permeate not only the entire stretch of the Rhineland but also way beyond. We can thus boast that we are a part of the Goethe-Institut network at home and abroad.
ta.dh.am ist eine Initiative des Goethe-Instituts Bonn und Amman zur Sichtbarmachung künstlerischer Positionen aus dem Jemen. Die Fotoausstellung wurde am 03.12.2022 mit einer Vernissage im Soma Art Space Berlin eröffnet und bis zum 12.12.2022 von einem Rahmenprogramm begleitet.
Käpt'n Book ist das größte Lesefestival für Kinder und Jugendliche in Deutschland. Im zweiten Jahr der Zusammenarbeit mit dem Goethe-Institut Bonn wurde die Ausstellung „RESPEKT – internationale Comics“ erstmals in der Region gezeigt.
2022 bot das Junge Theater Bonn mit Unterstützung des Goethe-Instituts Bonn ausgewählte Theaterstücke für Kinder und Jugendliche mit Live-Übersetzungen ins Ukrainische an.
Das Goethe-Institut Bonn und das renk. Magazin lassen in der fünften Staffel des Kahvehane Podcasts migrantische Blicke auf Diversität, Antirassismus, Kunst und Kultur diskutieren.
Das tunesische Künstlerkollektiv SIWA zeigte in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Goethe-Institut Bonn und der Bundeskunsthalle ausgewählte Werke zu den Themen Migration, Flucht und Identität. Dabei lud es zu Workshops und offenem Austausch ein.
Das Goethe-Institut Bonn und das Künstlerkollektiv freeters brachten die tunesischen Künstler*innen von ST4-The Project nach Deutschland, um durch partizipative Kunst im öffentlichen Raum interkulturellen und integrativen Austausch zu fördern.
Ukrainian art against discrimination and misanthropy – the Goethe-Institut Bonn and STRÖER support the art collective Gareleya Neotodryosh with an exhibition in public spaces all over Germany from 15.07.-30.09.22.
Gemeinsam mit dem Jungen Theater Bonn bringt das Zentrum für internationale Kulturelle Bildung in Bonn das Theaterstück Der Trafikant auf die Bühne, um möglichst vielen Schüler*innen Zugang zu dem Werk zu verschaffen.
