About the venue:
SENATE HOUSE
The Senate House is an incredible building, located in the Campus of Madras University. Built in 1873 by the British and designed by architect Robert Fellowes Chrisholm this piece of breathtaking architecture alone is worth a visit. This year Chennai Photo Biennale 2019 will give its visitors the unique opportunity to explore the beautiful but abandoned halls, towers and porticos while viewing the great art work of our international photo artists. Let’s revive the Senate House as one of Chennai’s biggest heritage treasures and create awareness of these places within our City. We’re looking forward to see you there!
