In collaboration with our cultural partner the Indian Sonic Research Organisation (ISRO), we are hosting Marigold Glitch, a showcase of work produced by Italian research artist Eva Macali during her residency at the ISRO.
Eva Macali is based in Rome and works with painting, sculpture, sound and video, often integrating them through installation and experimental writing. Her practice deals with the morphology of language and the metaphysics of matter focusing especially on nature and gender in a post-human perspective. She develops personal projects as well as participatory and social projects.
Join us on Friday September 30, 7 p.m. onwards for the opening of Marigold Glitch, a show of films, paintings, and floral composition on the intricate relationship between analog and digital images.
The work will be on display on Friday, 4p.m. onwards and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bhavan. Entry free.
Eva's residency at the ISRO is supported by the Culture promotion office of the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai and the Consulate General of Italy in Bangalore.
