Learning German on the soccer field

As part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Goethe-Institut USA is organizing interactive soccer camps at selected schools in the United States.

The camps are part of the Goethe-Institut USA's educational campaign for the 2026 World Cup. They combine sports, language, and intercultural exchange, creating new approaches to German culture in the context of a global sporting event.

Voices of the World Cup: High School Compentator Competition

What does it feel like to watch a last-minute goal? How do you put the roar of the crowd into words? Voices of the World Cup invites U.S. high school students to step into the commentator's booth and find out. Choose from two iconic moments in German national team history, record your commentary, submit your video, and let your voice be heard!
