What does the German Online Group Course involve?

Your German Online Group Course is split into various sections, in which you will learn about everyday subjects and contemporary topics as well as gaining relevant vocabulary and grammar knowledge.

Your German learning experience will involve a variety of individual and group online exercises (e.g. videos, pictures, audio clips, reading texts, gap-fills). You will also work on exercises to be submitted to your teacher via email (e.g. longer writing tasks), which will then be checked and sent back to you with detailed feedback. This will enable you to practice your German listening, reading and writing skills, while the online live sessions will give you the opportunity to practice your German speaking skills.

You can also download and print out important quick reference guides to various subjects for future use.

If any questions come to mind, you are welcome to discuss them with the classmates in your German online course on the forum or to email your teacher.

Our German Online Group Course was modelled after the successful German Online Group Courses at the London and New York Goethe-Instituts. If you want to get a sense of how a German online course works, take a look at the German Online Group Course video from the London Goethe-Institut.
