We continue our journey to the east of Germany
Our virtual journey next takes us to to the east of Germany - to Saxony-Anhalt. UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Bauhaus and memorials to Martin Luther, the Harz Mountains with the Brocken as the highest mountain in northern Germany and culinary specialities such as Salzwedeler Baumkuchen - the federal state is diverse. The economy is characterised by various industries, such as the chemical and food industries, but Saxony-Anhalt also has e-commerce and research institutes to offer.

The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and is aimed at
third-country nationals based in Germany and shortly before entering Germany.
You can register if you are a third-country national and one of the following options apply to you:
- You have a visa for the purpose of looking for a job as a skilled worker (§ 20 Residence Act) or for the purpose of looking for a training place for the purpose of carrying out a qualified vocational training (§ 17 (1) Residence Act) (OR a visa application AND a bring list (Mitbringliste) from the embassy)
- You have a residence permit (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) this is valid for at least one year, or you have had a residence permit for more than 18 months (and your residence permit is not a residence permit for the purpose of studying, participating in a student exchange, unpaid training, volunteer service or research)
- You have a Blue Card EU or admission to the integration course or professional language course (Zulassung zum Integrationskurs oder Berufssprachkurs).
