How to make the most out of your health insurance
During our info session we will cover the following topics:
- How does the German social security system work?
- What are the different types of insurances?
- How and where do I get my medication?
- How much do I pay for my health insurance and what is covered by the insurance?
- You are invited to ask your questions.
The presentation will be held in English with subtitles in many languages. We provide this info session in cooperation with BARMER health insurance.

Who is the course aimed at?
The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and is aimed at third-country nationals in Germany and those about to immigrate to Germany. Students are not part of the target group.
You can register if you are a third-country national and if you have one of these residence titles:
- Residence permit to carry out vocational training, search for a training place, recognition of foreign professional qualifications, work, job search, spouse or family reunification
- Visa or visa application for the above-mentioned residence purposes
- EU Blue Card
- Residence permit according to § 24 Abs. 1 AufenthG
