Finding a qualified work position in Germany and in Munich goes hand in hand with job portals and by visiting specific job fairs. These offers are manifold and support your search for an adequate job in your expert work field.

Today we will share useful information on how to best use these tools, learn through job offers and further tailor your portfolio and application in your specific professional branch, including tips and support in how to read, managem and match job descriptions to your individualized wording for the job market as well as for initiative applications.

The Open House is a weekly programme for local and international young professionals and skilled workers with a changing focus on professional, social and cultural integration in Munich. An offer for
  • people who are looking for vocational training or work
  • international and local professionals and young professionals who are new to Munich
  • accompanying partners and family members of skilled workers
  • companies based in Munich that want to integrate new employees in the long term

An initiative of the Munich Employment and Qualification Programme (MBQ) of the Munich Department of Labour and Economic Affairs (RAW) in cooperation with the Münchner Volkshochschule MVHS and the Goethe-Institut.

Who is the course aimed at? 

The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and is aimed at third-country nationals in Germany and about to enter Germany. Students are not part of the target group.
 
You can register if you are a third-country national and if you have one of these residence permits:
  • Residence permit to carry out vocational training, search for a training place, recognition of foreign professional qualifications, work, job search, spouse or family reunification
  • EU Blue Card 
  • Opportunity card visa (Section 20a AufenthG) or Visa to look for a training place (Section 17 (1) AufenthG)
  • Residence permit in accordance with Section 24 (1) AufenthG
Persons who are still in their country of origin and/or do not yet have one of the above residence permits can identify themselves with their national ID card or passport.
