Making Family and Youth Issues Visible Through Media
Opening Conversations on Parenting, Youth, and Family Support
By Association Roditelji / Parents
The project “O svijesti – Regional Stories on Parenting and Family Support” creates space for open, informed and accessible conversations about the challenges faced by parents, children, young people and families today.
Through a series of podcast episodes and short-form video content, the project addresses topics ranging from contemporary parenting and early childhood development to education, mental health, peer violence, child safety in the digital environment, relationships, social pressures and the challenges faced by young people.

Content is distributed through YouTube, Spotify, Instagram and TikTok, allowing the project to reach audiences through different formats and platforms. The project has also expanded beyond digital platforms, with episodes of the O svijesti series being broadcast on RTCG 2, the Second Programme of Montenegro’s public service broadcaster. This has further extended the reach of the conversations and brought project-supported content to a broader television audience.
By making relevant and often overlooked topics more visible and accessible, the project contributes to more constructive media narratives around parenting, children, young people and family support, while creating space for dialogue rather than judgement.
