The 6th Chennai International Documentary and Short Film Festival 2018 is jointly organised by MARUPAKKAM and Goethe-Institut, Chennai.

Around 50 films will be screened under the following sections

  2. Filmmaker in Focus: Bernd Lutzeler, Germany
  3. Filmmaker in Focus: Shazia Khan, Kashmir
  4. Homage - S.Sukhdev: Films by Sukhdev & produced by Films Division of India
  5. Paradigm of non-shift: Robert Bresson, Mani Kaul, Amit Dutta. Curated and presented by Amrit Gangar, Curator/Critic
  6. Artists Cinema: Films by Painters - Curated and presented by C. S. Venkiteswaran, Curator/Critic
  7. Indian Films: Curated by Amudhan R.P.
  8. International Films: Curated by Amudhan R.P.
  9. Films from Tamilnadu
 
MARUPAKKAM is a media activist group that makes screens and disseminates documentary films across South India.
