Paradise shows how fast a person can be exploited through false promises. It tells the story of a teenager today - dangerous and harmless, awfully funny and dead serious, naive and thoughtful.

Paradise (Paradies) by the Youth Theatre Düsseldorf / D’haus (Junges Schauspielhaus / D'haus) premiered in Germany in 2017 and now comes to Bangalore. The performance will be followed by an on-stage interaction with the audience.

Paradise is the outcome of an exciting project: Crossroads - The Authors Project that was initiated five years ago by theatre makers from Pune's Maharashtra Cultural Centre (MCC)  along with German dramatist Lutz Hübner and Stefan Fischer-Fels, current Head of the Youth Theatre Düsseldorf / D’haus. The topic ‘radicalisation of youth’ inspired two theatrical productions - Y (by MCC, Pune) and Paradise (by D’haus, Germany).

Lutz Hübner, who is the most performed German playwright, wrote Paradise along with Sarah Nemitz and the performance by Youth Theatre Düsseldorf / D’haus is directed by Mina Salehpour.
