The book fair will witness author interactions, film/documentaries screenings, book releases and seminars. There will also be many literary and publishing programs and panel discussions among them are the events initiated by Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan.
A number of European authors will present readings of their texts in their respective languages as well as in English and will be clubbed together in different sessions. The German novelist- filmmaker Norman Ohler will represent Germany and will read from his highly acclaimed first non-fiction book Der totale Rausch, translated as Blitzed - Drugs in Nazi Germany. David Foenkinos from France, Laurence Boissiere from Switzerland, Dorothea Nürnberg from Austria, and many other established and popular authors would also grace the lazy literary afternoon with their participation.
Don’t be lazy to join us at this lazy literary Sunday.
The discussion is evolving around a translation project conducted at Delhi University. Texts translated from German, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian into Hindi will be published by Rajkamal Prakashan later in 2018 under the title Andhere Daur Ki Roshan (Helle Geschichten in finsteren Zeiten).
