Algorave India presents an open source workshop based on Gibber, Sonic Pi & TidalCycles.
Algoraves are about dancing and listening to live music made with code, and over the last few years have become a global phenomena bringing creative coding centre stage into the world of performing arts.

This is a practice based workshop where participants are expected to follow along with the facilitators to become familiar with live coding patterns and practices in a few creative coding platforms. These allow you to make musical patterns with programming, describing sequences and ways of transforming and combining them, exploring complex interactions between simple parts. All of this platforms are built and distributed as free open source software that runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. At the end of the workshop participants will be equipped to explore the world of creative coding on their own at their own pace and interests.
