The panel will present their professional perspectives on cultural politics in varied arts related practices, including publishing, curation, archiving and documentary photography. They discuss the role of participation, creativity and aesthetics in generating new social frameworks, and deliberate on historical movements and emergent visual discourses, drawing on aspects presented in this edition of PIX, titled the Citizen Issue. The issue was previouslz launched at the Chennai Photo Biennale, 2019.
