German Spotlight 2019

We are proud to present the fifth edition of German Spotlight in collaboration with Sandbox Collective. German Spotlight was conceived to popularise contemporary German drama in English translation and brings together theatremakers and afficionados to create dramatised, rehearsed readings for local audiences.

German Spotlight 2019 features:

1. Stefan Wipplinger’s Hose Fahrrad Frau (Trousers Bicycle Woman) directed by Sunayana Premchander
2. Kerstin Specht’s Die Zeit der Schildkröten (The Time of The Tortoise) directed by Ashwini Chakre
3. Sabine Harbeke’s Und jetzt (And Now) directed by Surabhi Vasisht 
4. Nis-Momme Stockmann’s Das blaue blaue Meer (The blue, blue sea) directed by Satchit Puranik 

All the readings will be presented first at the Bhavan and then at The Courtyard.
