The development and the increasing use of digital media have placed libraries as learning and meeting places which provide the opportunity to acquire knowledge, learn techniques and exchange ideas.  In addition, libraries have the task of enabling the creative use of digital techniques. Pop Up Creative Room offers a space to flexibly engage in new content and learning of new skills.

From November-December 2020 the library in Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Chennai in collaboration with Edutech India is offering online learning spaces for children aged 7 to 10 years. Pop Up Creative Room in Chennai will involve - in association with various schools across the city, Stem Studio online courses such as Animation, Online 3D Design and Scratch Programming.
