As a part of Pune International Literary Festivals a virtual reading will take place on 11.12.2020. Leonard Thoma will read a short story from his book “Perfect Couple”, followed by interview in English. The reading is in three languages: German, English and Marathi.

Author:
Leonhard Thoma was born in Aschaffenburg/Germany in 1966. He studied German literature and philosophy at Munich University (M.A.). After working in Dijon and Paris as an assistant teacher, he moved to Barcelona, teaching German language and literature at university for many years.
Since the late 1990s, he has been writing short stories for teaching German as a foreign language/DaF (incl. ‘Der Hundetraum’, ‘Das Idealpaar’ etc.).
He is currently based in Augsburg/Germany. Along with writing he also conducts lectures and workshops all over the world.
