As part of the research phase for their new production “1984: Back to No Future” Gob Squad are doing a series of residencies and collaborations across the globe with the aim to broaden their narrative and see the world from a different perspective – they are not going to let a global pandemic stop them! Their local partner and host for the India chapter is Drama Queen. As part of this residency Gob Squad facilitated the fifth and last workshop in the Starting Realities workshop series.

This public talk will be hosted by the Serendipity Arts Virtual. Anuja Ghosalkar & Kai Tuchmann will moderate this discussion between Gob Squad Collective and Venkat Srinivasan (National Centre for Biological Sciences) as a culmination of the Starting Realities International workshop series on documentary theatre. This series was started in 2018 by Anuja Ghosalkar & Kai Tuchmann to build audiences and new practitioners around the form.
