Online Events|World Music Day
In collaboration with the Alliance Francaise de Pune, Goethe-Institut Max Mueller Bhavan Pune will celebrate International Music Day on 21st June 2021.
Since 1982 the Fête de la musique or International Music Day has been celebrated every year in France. The idea of bringing people together to make or to enjoy music found great response and other countries also started celebrating the world music day in a similar way. Amateur and professional musicians are encouraged to perform on the streets. The slogan Faites de la musique (Make music), a homophone of Fête de la Musique, is used to promote this goal. Many free concerts are organized, making all genres of music accessible to the public.
As a tradition, this year also various songs online musical events and activities will be offered online / virtually.
