Lese-Literati:Onleihe Book Buffet where the world of literature awaits you, offers in November the final event for this year.
This event is in English and is open to all upon registration Writing and a Sense of Belonging: In Conversation with Author Monica Cantieni
Works of fiction allow us to experience lives different from our own. At some point in our own lives, we may have also felt different or like an outsider. This event- including both a reading and a conversation - will discuss the social constructions of identity and explore the roles played by politics, society, ethnicity and most important family. How does a family -one that we are born into or one that is chosen for us (as is the case in “The Encyclopaedia of Good Reasons’), provide support against what may be an indifferent or even a hostile world outside?
This event which enables author-reader interaction besides a virtual reading will take place on ZOOM 6:30 - 7:30 pm. (IST). Registrations open Wednesday, 3 November 2021.
