In collaboration with long-standing partner Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, we are happy to present a lecture demonstration on Dance & Movement in Virtual Reality by Marcel Karnapke and Björn Lengers from the Berlin-based artists collective CyberRäuber.

This event is part of the Attakkalari India Biennial 2021/2022.

In their presentation Marcel and Björn will talk about the process, experiences, failures and learnings in the production of CyberBallet and Curious MovesCyberBallet is a theatrical installation transferring dance into Virtual Reality, teaching an artificial intelligence to move.

Marcel Karnapke
is a programmer, media and theatre artist and is one of the founders of the Bauhaus University's Virtual Reality Lab.

Björn Lengers
previously worked as a manager in the recycling industry. He is a programmer, data analyst and theatre artist.
