Simurgh Festival Film Screenings | With Zamarin Wahdat

Catch a screening of Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (if you’re a girl) (documentary, directed by Carol Dysinger, 39 mins, 2019), Bambirak (short fiction, directed by Zamarin Wahdat, 13 mins, 2020), and Midnight Traveler (documentary, directed by Hasan Fazili, 90 mins, 2019)

The screenings will be followed by an interactive session with Zamarin Wahdat. Zamarin is an award-winning filmmaker and cinematographer based in Hamburg. She was part of the crew on Oscar-winner Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (if you're a girl) and is the director of Bambirak, about a young Afghan girl in Germany.
