Cinemathek: Mountain Miracle - An Unexpected Friendship by Tobias Wiemann

We welcome you to the screening of Mountain Miracle - An Unexpected Friendship (Amelie rennt), directed by Tobias Wiemann. This is the second event in our series CINEMATHEK: Film Screening in Your Library.

The film depicts teenager Amelie's life. Amelie, who grew up in Berlin, has to take a medical cure in the mountainous South Tyrol after a violent asthma attack. Despite further attacks, she embarks on a multi-day and hard ascent to the summit cross, which is accompanied by Bart, a young enigmatic cow herder from the village, who makes her purpose possible.
 
The film will be screened on October 7 and 8, 2022 at 2.30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
