Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival

Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival, India's only literary Festival created by a bookstore and Kolkata’s first literary festival, reflects the city’s vibrancy of thought, its engagement with the literary world at large and explores literature as part of our tangible and intangible heritage. It celebrates books, music, art, film, and more with the finest creative minds at the city’s magnificent heritage sites.

The Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata invites German novelist, playwright and scriptwriter Christopher Kloeble to take part at the following two sessions at the festival and present his ideas and views with like-minded book lovers.

Session I: 2:00 pm - Past Continuous - Revitalising nuggets of history for today’s reader with Christopher Kloeble, Shrabani Basu and Tanika Gupta.

Moderator: Sujata Sen

Session II: 5:00 pm - Fast Forward - Writing for a post-pandemic world. An Adda with Amruta Patil, Iryna Vikyrchak, Christopher Kloeble and Karuna Ezara Parikh.

Moderator: Minu Tharoor

Both sessions will take place on the main stage in the central area.

For age groups 18 years and above. No passes are required.
