Myanmar 6th Edition

The Science Film Festival Myanmar was organized by the Goethe-Institut Myanmar in cooperation with the Ministry of Education (Alternative Education Department), Metta Foundation - Bago Center, YMCA of Myanmar, Brainworks & Total Group of Schools, Maker 360, 360ed, Salang Gabar Education (Bhamo, Kachin State), Pannatagun Monastic Education School (Bhamo, Kachin State), Saytanar Private School (Bhamo, Kachin State), Dhama Nandi Monastic School (Mawlamyaing, Mon State), and Pynar Nady Education Supporting Group (Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Division).

The festial took place from October 28 to November 30 throughout the whole country. The screenings were mostly held in government schools with the support of the Ministry of Education Myanmar and in private schools, monastic schools, orphanages and in churches. In 2017, the screenings reached 33,000 viewers nationwide.
