Workshop 10.06.2025:
On 10 June at 8 PM (OEZ) we invite you to an online workshop in the Art Meets Tech series on promptography and identity. No registration needed.
Together with the artist Maja Korczyńska, we will focus on promptography, the practice of generating images using text input in AI models. At the same time, this online workshop offers a critical and practice-oriented examination of identity in the context of artificial intelligence.
Together we will explore how promptography allows us to rethink, change or merge identity in a way that is not possible with traditional media. By creating digital portraits and narratives, this practice challenges the concept of a fixed identity and opens up hybrid representations that transcend conventional categories such as gender, ethnicity or external characteristics. This raises fundamental questions about authenticity, prejudice and the role of AI-generated image narratives in our self-image.
Participants will be introduced to easily accessible digital tools and guided through a series of structured exercises aimed at exploring self-representation, narrative construction and the aesthetic potential of AI-enabled processes.
The session will also include a short presentation of recent work by the artist, providing a practical framework for discussion and reflection.
The workshop is aimed at artists, philosophers and anyone interested in the impact of AI on society and art.
