On 9 September at 7 p.m. (Tallinn time), another online session in the Art Meets Tech series will take place – this time focusing on art, science, technology and society.

No registration required.

In this session, we will dive into the world of art, science, technology and society together with Inês Montalvão.

Inês will share her experiences from her work at the intersection of creativity, science and art, and will also delve into areas such as exhibition design, collaborative exhibitions, visual storytelling and curatorial projects using selected case studies.

Drawing on her current role as programme director at Artists with Evidence and her past and ongoing collaborations with collectives, researchers and institutions, Ines invites the audience to reflect on how transdisciplinary work can promote new ways of thinking, feeling and acting in the world.

The presentation will be followed by a short question and answer session.

This lecture is aimed at artists and institutions who implement or wish to implement scientific concepts artistically, as well as anyone interested in the intersection of art, science and their influence on society.

Inês Montalvão, originally from Porto and based in Helsinki since 2017, has international experience in the field of art and science.
