German cinema
Once a month we screen a German movie with English subtitles on the big screen in our hall. Free entry and also suitable for film enthusiasts without any knowledge of German. All welcome!
We also organise regular film screenings at the Institut Français d'Écosse, Edinburgh.
Deutsche Runde
The "Deutsche Runde" is an informal gathering and exchange around a chosen topic of German language or culture. It is ideal for learners with some knowledge of German (B1 and higher). We meet once a month on a Thursday afternoon.
Book Club
Discover German literature at the Goethe-Institut in Glasgow or online. Once a month on a Tuesday evening we discuss a contemporary German novel or short story (B2/C1 and higher).
