Activities and strategies for the German classroom
We invite teachers from primary and secondary schools to join us for an in-service training day at the Goethe-Institut on the topic of "Teaching German - Using the Target Language in the Classroom".
You will learn activities and strategies to conduct your lessons in German and how to support your students' understanding of your instructions and utterances. The training also focuses on formulating simple and precise work assignments in German as well as classroom management in German through appropriate routines and rituals. In this way, you will increasingly create an immersive learning environment in the classroom and provide your students with more opportunities to hear and understand German and to use it as a language of communication in everyday classroom situations.
Time: 10:00 am - 04:00 pm

About the speaker:

For many years Miguel Rezzani has been inspiring young people worldwide as a workshop leader in projects on the topics of ecology and environmental protection.
Miguel Rezzani lives in Berlin. He studied the master's degree in foreign language linguistics with a focus on "German as a Foreign Language" and "Language in Acquisition and Communication" at the University of Potsdam. He also studied to become a teacher of "German as a Foreign Language" in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There he taught German as a Foreign Language for adults and teenagers at the Goethe Institute Buenos Aires as well as at various German schools. He is currently a freelance instructor of regional training courses for the Goethe Institute in Germany. He also tutors online training courses (Deutsch Lehren Lernen - DLL and Online Tutoring) for the Goethe-Institut headquarters. Abroad, he has been working on regional and national projects of the PASCH initiative "Schools Partners of the Future" and as a teacher trainer since 2015.
