"Engaging Language Students Through Interactive Tasks"

This presentation for language teachers delivered by Dominique Böert of the Goethe-Institut, who promotes German language and culture at UK schools, centres around the question how meaningful tasks can be used to actively engage language students and help them interact in another language. The focus will be on developing and improving communicative competence to meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
Travel Allowance
We offer a £100 GBP travel allowance for active German secondary school teachers living more than 50 miles away from London to make it possible for them to attend our seminar at the language show. A limited number of grants is available.
The travel allowance will be transferred after event. Seminar attendance is a requirement for receiving the allowance and it is therefore necessary to register with us at our stand at the Language Show as well as in the seminar.
