The Institut français du Royaume-Uni in partnership with the the Goethe-Institut, the Spanish Embassy in the UK and the British Council, and with the participation of King's College London, London Metropolitan University, and St Mary's University Twickenham, present a FREE online MFL CPD event for PGCE trainees and Modern Language assistants in the UK.
Programme:

- 16:35 Plenary session: "From Teaching Culture to Developing Intercultural Competence", presented by Simon Coffey, King's College London
- 5-min break
- 17:00 Language-specific classroom practice workshops in German, French and Spanish (break-out sessions)
- German workshop: "Zeitgemäßer Daf-Unterricht: Schüleraktivierung in einer digitalen Welt" (Contemporary German Language Teaching: Engaging students in a digital world). Session delivered in German by Dominique Böert and Domini Stone, Goethe-Institut London
