We are delighted to announce an exciting new project to celebrate this summer's Euro 2020 football tournament, which will take place from 11 June to 11 July 2021 and is open to primary and secondary schools.
While 24 countries compete on the pitch to become the champions of Europe, we will be challenging pupils to build an all-star "Fantasy Football" team in German. Using a range of vocabulary and structures, pupils will build a team and score points based on their chosen players' real-life performance at Euro 2020.
Throughout the tournament, we will track each team's score, provide regular updates and announce some lucky prize winners! Don't worry, there will be plenty of hints and tips for non-football fans.
Join us on Tuesday 18th May, from 16:30-17:30, for an online launch event with Steve Eadon, Founder & CEO of Mingalaba, a new organisation established following the closing of Arsenal Double Club. Steve will explain in greater detail how the competition will work and how you can get your school involved.
