An informal gathering and exchange around a chosen topic of German language or culture.

Did you know that there are over 12,000 lakes in Germany? Some are natural bodies of water, others are man-made. In our Deutsche Runde in September, we will take a closer look at some of them and find out more about their natural beauty. We will meet fascinating people who live near lakes (and who make a living from them), discover myths and legends, and dive down to the bottom of the lakes to find treasures from times gone by. Join us on our journey – you never know, you might get an idea for your next trip to Germany!

'Deutsche Runde' is an informal gathering and exchange around a chosen topic of German language or culture. It is ideal for learners with some knowledge of German (B1 and higher). We meet once a month on a Thursday afternoon.

Participation is free of charge. You can register via Eventbrite, but it is not essential to do so.
