Talks for School Classes

This year the Goethe-Institut, V&A, Natural History Museum, Imperial College, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall, Royal College of Music and Christie’s South Kensington will welcome young people considering careers in the creative industries to a day of talks, workshops and behind the scenes tours.

The Goethe-Institut will offer sessions for students that will focus on careers and opportunities with German and science, sport as well as museum and exhibition sector. The sessions will be led by experts who have combined their knowledge of the German language and their professional skills.

Talks
  • 10.30am – Careers in Science with German, Dr. Ingo Müller-Wodarg
  • 11.30am – Careers in Sports with German, Steve Eadon
  • 12.30am – Careers in the Museum and Exhibition Sector with German, Sabrina Ben Aouicha
Speaker details
Dr. Ingo Müller-Wodarg is a physicist at Imperial College London. Topic: Careers in Science with German.
Steve Eadon is a Double Club Lanquages Coordinator Arsenal. Topic: Careers in Sports with German.
Sabrina Ben Aouicha is a museum curator at the British Museum. Topic: Careers in the Museum and Exhibition Sector with German.

Booking
The event is offered free of charge to schools. If you are interested in bringing your school class to one or several sessions, please fill in the registration form and return it to teacher_services@london.goethe.org to make a booking for your class.
Additionally schools have the opportunity to get a library tour at the Goethe-Institut London. If you are interested, please indicate this in the registration form. Here you can find the full programme for the day.
