CHAAT MEETS SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY IN GROWING URGENCY
brings to New Delhi a ‘Mental Sculpture’ – a set of films ART MEETS SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY IN A CHANGING ECONOMY by artist Louwrien Wijers created in Amsterdam (1990). It is performative dialog intended to facilitate the unpacking of Louwrien; an incident to be re-addressed in the present. With this process, the aim is to create an opportunity to drive the discourse home, by exploring how the content of this knowledge created in this forum is still relevant to our own geo-political lives in the now – convening around the common ground of our shared planetary condition through a coordinated digestion of thoughts. Through food play the murky waters/ topics will be addressed, such as current/ evolving commerce, economics, environment, ecology, culture, capital, femininity and creativity; all of which will be enlightened by the screening of Louwrien’s films.
