About the Project

Understanding Media in the Digital Age

In today's digital age, it's become increasingly important to be able to critically evaluate news and media sources. With so much information available at our fingertips, it can be difficult to separate fact from fiction. News and media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate and create media in a variety of forms. It helps us to develop critical thinking skills, understand media bias, and make informed decisions about the information we consume and share.

Tools for Media engagement: Information and Disinformation

The ability to identify fake news and misinformation is crucial to making informed decisions. To navigate the labyrinths of media landscape useful skills / tips and tools are being developed to help in distinguishing between information and disinformation for responsible media creation and consumption.

Digital Resilience: Navigating Online Threats

In today's digital age, online safety and security is a critical issue that affects individuals and organizations alike. With the rise of social media and digital communication, people are more connected than ever before, but they are also vulnerable to online threats such as hate speech, cyberbullying, privacy breaches, scams and online frauds. This makes it essential to understand and practice good password and account security, as well as to know how to protect your data and personal information online.
