Science Film Festival

In 2025, India will celebrate the 9th edition of the Science Film Festival. The Goethe-Institutes in New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, and Goethe Zentrum Hyderabad, in collaboration with their respective partner schools and institutions, will host the festival from October to December. This year, the festival focuses on “Green Jobs”.

INTERSECTIONS & INTERVENTIONS: BARWE & KLEE

The project intends to bring two artists and their artistic as well as theoretical/pedagogical ideas into an exciting dialogue: Prabhakar Barwe (1936-1995), artist of the second wave of Indian modernism based in Maharashtra, and Paul Klee (1879-1940), a Swiss-German modern artist and teacher at the Bauhaus University in the 1920s in Germany.

ENRST JANDL 100 YEARS : LOUDER. QUIETER..

To celebrate the life and work of Ernst Jandl, Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Pune is presenting a special exhibition that brings his poetry to life in a multisensory format. Through 3D installations, soundscapes, visual projections, and artistic interpretations, the exhibition explores Jandl’s groundbreaking use of sound, structure, and space.

Seed Stories

By uniting experts, seed savers and artists, Seed Stories seeks to reclaim the cultural and ecological significance of native seed diversity and envision a future where seeds are seen as repositories of resilience and hope.

A TRANSDISCIPLINARY PROJECT
Travelling Plants

This exhibition explores how plants travelled due to human intervention, for aesthetic, political and economic reasons. In tracing some remarkable journeys of travelling plants in this exhibition, the exhibition uncovers a tapestry of interconnected histories that highlight the enduring bond between nature and humanity.
