REFRAMING FAMILY: FEMINIST PERSPECTIVES THROUGH THE LENS

The Goethe-Instituts in Budapest, Chennai, and Sofia, together with their local partners, are pleased to welcome the residency artists for the projectReframing Family: Feminist Perspectives Through the Lens— an international photo residency for female-identifying photographers.

THE FEMALE LEGACY PROJECT

Goethe-Institut, Chennai in association with SNS Arts Development Consultancy, the Kala Collective and in collaboration with Alliance Française, Madras is delighted to present The Female Legacy Project. An exhibition spotlighting 3 iconic Female Artists from Tamil Nadu - Narthaki Nataraj(Bharatanatyam), Seethalakshmi(Shadow Puppetry) and Usha Rani(Tamil Theatre).

In 2025, India celebrated the 9th edition of the Science Film Festival. The Goethe-Institutes in India in collaboration with their respective partner schools and institutions, hosted the festival from October to December. This time, the festival focused on “Green Jobs”.
