Before Seeds see the light

About the project

Before Seeds See the Light is an immersive collaboration between Philipp Geist and Abhijit Patil, celebrating the unseen labor of seed savers. Through Phillip’s light projections and Abhijit’s photography, trees become living canvases, illuminating the quiet dedication of those preserving biodiversity. Glowing portraits on trunks and branches capture their patience and deep bond with seeds. Just as seeds lie dormant before sprouting, these guardians work in the shadows to secure our future. This installation is both a tribute and a call to action—reminding us that resilience begins unseen, and the seeds we nurture today will shape the world of tomorrow.
