Ways of Seeing : A Photo Exhibition

Leo Ahlers will showcase their work at Kānike from 2-4 December as part of the bangaloREsidency programme of the Goethe Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan.

Leo is a currently bangaloREsident at Sandbox Collective. This exhibition & their ongoing work Ways of Seeing: A Photo Exhibition - The gendered female body in Super 8mm films of the '70s, presents different perspectives to the sexualised, quasi, conform female body.
Through a democratic process of editing by numerous people in advance, during, and after the exhibition, we hope to have an interesting discussion about ways of seeing in patriarchal structures.
 
Schedule:

Friday, December 2
6:00 P.M.: Opening
6:30-8.00P.M.: Invitation to work/ edit prints
8:00PM: Discussion

Saturday and Sunday, December 3 -4
12 - 8 pm
Invitation to work / edit prints
and talk to the artist.
